Approach
Create practical, personalised strategies to support your growth and performance
I believe that sport is more than just chasing accolades — it's about the development of one’s personality and character. Rather than offering surface-level tips or one-size-fits-all solutions, I collaborate closely with each client to understand their world, their mindset, and what matters most to them.
My consulting is grounded in values of agency, discipline, authenticity, responsibility, and growth. My approach is twofold:
-
We work to identify and remove internal friction points - the self-doubt, overthinking, and misaligned expectations that often get in the way.
-
We build skill and self-awareness - through reflection, experimentation, and the development of tailored mental strategies.
This work is integrative and evidence-based. I draw from frameworks in applied sport psychology, performance science, and philosophy — including Stoicism, Buddhism, and humanistic and existential psychology. That means we not only build mental performance skills like focus, confidence, and arousal control — we also explore deeper questions around identity, motivation, and meaning.
Sessions might include mental skills training, performance debriefs, mindfulness work, guided imagery, or dialogue-based reflection. Through self-examination, clients can become more intentional in how they show up.
Above all, this is a space for honest conversation, focused growth, and meaningful development — not just as performers, but as people.
